Taken from sessions and concerts held in 1969, 1970, and 1972, these 14 tracks aren't necessary supplements to their official releases from the same period -- the arrangements are pretty close to the studio takes. But big Pentangle fans might like to have this, capturing the group playing live at its peak, with many songs from the Sweet Child and Basket of Light albums, a couple offered in two versions. All songs are Pentangle originals; the five from 1972, unsurprisingly, aren't in the same league as ones of earlier vintage. The group plays well, and the sound is excellent; the renditions of "Light Flight" and "In Time" are highlights.
