11 years after Moby Grape burst on the music scene with an incredible debut album being heralded as the "Next Big Thing," the group came out of the ashes to make this, possibly their second best album. In between, of course, there were marketing screw-ups, madness, drugs, and a host of other problems that stopped them from reaching their potential. This album, though, reveals what could have been. Ten excellent tracks, ranging from soulful workouts such as "You Can Depend on Me" and "Talk About Love," to one of the band's best flat-out rockers "Give It Hell" prove that when this band was on, it was indeed, one of the finest. Unfortunately, Moby Grape was unable to pay the recording studio where this was cut, and sadly, the record was never generally released. Occasionally available at the Grape's infrequent live shows, it's truly a must-have for even casual fans of the group.
