Album Review

This collection has plenty of Harry Nilsson gems, including his definitive covers of Badfinger's "Without You" and Fred Neil's "Everybody's Talkin'," as well as Nilsson's own version of "One," a huge hit for Three Dog Night, but it lacks some obvious tracks, as well, including "Coconut," "Cuddly Toy" (a key album track for the Monkees), the fascinatingly realized "1941," the infectious and cartoon-like "Me and My Arrow," and his hit dance single "Jump into the Fire," so it doesn't make the best introduction to this unique artist, although there's still plenty here to convince anyone that Nilsson was truly gifted and definitely one of a kind.
