Named in honor of the actress who starred in the Russ Meyer cult classic Faster Pussycat Kill! Kill!, the alternative metal outfit Tura Satana comprised vocalist Tairrie B., guitarist Scott Ueda, bassist Rico Villasenor and drummer Marcelo Palomino. The group began their career under as Manhole, and under that name issued their debut LP All Is Not Well in 1996; rechristened Tura Satana, they resurfaced in 1997 with Relief Through Release.
