Although he is a talented songwriter,
Tommy Conwell and his band,
the Young Rumblers, haven't managed to escape the bar band circuit. With their first album, 1988's
Rumble, the band earned a small radio and video hit with the joyous, self-deprecating rocker "I'm Not Your Man," but they weren't able to produce a follow-up. Two years later, they released their next album which showed that
Conwell was improving as a writer and that the band was tighter, but it was ignored.
