Jannecke

Jannecke was born and raised in Bergen, Norway.

She has been in the music industry for over 20 years. In that time she has spent most of it performing with her father, the legendary Helge Nilsen, in Norway. She played anywhere from small town halls for 300 to larger concert halls for 3-5000 on a regular basis. Country music is in her blood! She is most influenced by Dolly Parton, Shania Twain, Allison Krauss and LeeAnn Womack who also happen to be her all time favourites.

She moved to Canada 3 years ago with her husband who is from Saskatoon where she is continuing to expand and grow her career.

Jannecke has the classic country voice, with a very distinctive tone. She was recently discovered by a top producer in Nashville who invited her down to Nashville to record a 4 track EP, utilizing multi award winning musicians and studios, with amazing results. Along with that exciting progression, Jannecke is enjoying performing and developing her fan base locally and regionally.
