I'm always amazed with technology...I bet it won't be long before we've got flying cars, robot butlers and time machines! You know, like they had in the movies in the 1980's.

Singing in the Car - Part Deux

So I've been getting emails and phone calls reassuring me that I'm a horrific singer.

It all started with this I wanted to know what I REALLY sounded like singing in the car. It wasn't pretty. But you know what...I'm like that song from Shania...no...not I feel like a woman

Okay, lets start with a negative...

I should appologize to my family and friends for what's about to happen. Most of all to my fiance Kelly, for when she hears this, she's probably gonna call me names and be too embarrassed to show up to school for the next week.

Metallica...Gone Country?

 

I realize that sounds weird...maybe even a sign of the apocalypse? Lets see; Heavy Metal and Country music, they've got alot in common, right? Okay...maybe not.

BUT

If you're like me...and your like all kinds of music, you might appreciate this band. They're called Iron Horse. They're a bluegrass band, but they sing metal covers.

So I was bored...I went on youtube, I watched the guy get hit in the groin with the football...and the golf ball, the golf club...yawn.

Same old same old...

You know what I realized? If you take your favorite country singer, type them into youtube...you'd be amazed by what you find. Here are the coolest thing I found while cruising the interweb this afternoon.

Ever since I was a kid...it's been hard to shut me up. In school, I was always talking, I was DEFINITELY the loud mouthed kid! As I got older, nothing changed. I remember taking a bet when I was 16...

If I can be serious for a minute...

I was always interested in radio, cause my dad is in radio. I grew up with people talking to me about things my dad had said that morning...I'd get asked at school "so are you the one who got his ear pierced?" - stuff like that. It was normal for me...What? Your dad doesn't do the morning show for a living?

Experiment: Can I Sing?

 

Now...I already know the answer...but I wanna give this a whirl. Sure, I don't have an angelic voice like Billy Gillman, but maybe if I do an impression of someone that CAN sing, I'll have a better shot at success.
