He's 28 years old and a CFL free agent...meet Brad Smith, Canada's Bachelor.  Brad's name was revealed this morning and he will be the first Canadian Bachelor to  have a group of bachelorettes vying for the final red rose.    There aren't a lot of pictures if you google him. The picture that has been chosen for publicity shots is him in a Toronto Argos helmet.  

The bachelorettes will be unveiled closer to the show.

The Canadian version of the The Bachelor  airs this fall.

I looooove my snooze button!!!  It also gets me into a lot of trouble as I'm sure it does you.   There is a new alarm clock,  made for people like us, and a New Jersey man can barely keep up with the orders.

Keep in mind, buying this clock will probably make you angry in the morning but it guarantees you'll get out of bed!  Guarantees!

Once it goes off, to stop it you have to get out of bed, go into another room and punch the day's date into a telephone-style keypad. That's the only way to stop the loud 'ding-ding,' designed to sound like a customer angrily banging on a concierge bell at a hotel.

The creator of the clock, is a 25 year old engineer who says he will wake up before it goes off because he subconsciously fears it and it's sound.

Today is Pink Shirt Day!    Get out the pink and wear it proudly to take a stand on a huge issue that are hurting the kids in our city, in our province, in our country.   

I read a recent study on increasing child suicide rates...one of the biggest factors - bullying.  Think about that for a second.  For some kids, bullying can be so bad, taking their own life is an option.  How is that possible?  That's why we need to stand together as adults and make this stop.  The scariest thing for a bullied child, is the thought that no one can help them.
