ACM AWARDS ANNOUNCES FAN-VOTED NEWCOMER CATEGORIES, NOMINEES

For the second year in a row, the three newcomer awards at the upcoming Academy of Country Music Awards will be voted on by fans. Under the new category names of Top New Solo Vocalist, Top New Vocal Duo and Top New Vocal Group, fans may cast their vote for this year's winner online at VoteACM.com beginning on February 26th.

This year's nominees in those categories are:

Top New Solo vocalist

• Luke Bryan
• Jamey Johnson
• Chris Young

Top New vocal duo

• Bomshel
• Joey + Rory
• Steel Magnolia

Top New Vocal Group

• Eli Young Band
• Gloriana
• The Lost Trailers

Votes of professional members of the ACM will be combined with fan votes to determine the winners of the Top New categories at the ACM Awards.

• Fan voting will close on March 12th.
• The winner in each category will be announced in mid-March and will move on to compete for Top New Artist. Voting for the Top New Artist category will run from April 1st through April 18th at VoteACM.com.
• The winner will be announced live during the 45^th Annual Academy of Country Music Awards broadcast on CBS on April 18th.
• The complete list of nominees for the ACM Awards will be announced in February.
