Big Dog 92.7's Annual Radiothon for the Big Dog 92.7's Kid's Fund was June 1, 2012.  Big Dog 927 was live at the centre court of the Cornwall Centre from 6am 'til 6pm.

Once again this year we raised money for the Respite Program for Hope's Home.  People were able to come down to visit and to make a donation to help medically fragile children and their families in our community.

Statistics Canada shows, parents with medically fragile children have an 80 percent chance of breaking up. The respite program gives parents who are constantly caring for their child a much needed break. They can go on date nights or spend quality time with their typical children who don't get mom and dad's attention as much because it's needed towards their brother or sister with medical conditions.

Hope's Home
Our Vision Medically fragile children and their families enjoy better lives. Our Mission Hope's Home is a family-centered environment providing care to medically fragile children giving them a place to live, play, and be kids. The goal of the Big Dog 92-7 Kids Fund is to make a difference by helping different children's organizations in and around Regina. Our mandate is to grow our community's most precious resource; our kids.

We want to help create positive growth in our kids. The best way to do it is to invest in them. With that, we've created an ongoing initiative that will help make life better for kids in our community.
