Lindsay Lohan, what are you thinking?!?!? Seriously????

Lindsay Lohan, what are you thinking?!?!? Seriously????

March 10, 2010 - 6:55am.
Brad Grass

If anyone thought Lindsay Lohan was actually cleaning up her act, think again! She's suing E Trade Securities for $100 million dollars over their commercial featuring a 'milk-a-holic' named Lindsay...her lawyer states that she has the same single name recognition as Oprah or Madonna, so when you use the name you think of her......SERIOUSLY???

I think she might want to re-think this lawsuit, because implying that Lindsay Lohan drinks too much milk is probably the nicest thing anyone has said about her in the last 3 years!

If you haven't seen this commercial yet, here it is for your viewing pleasure!

Brad's American Saturday Night Tour made its final stop on the tour at the Charleston Coliseum in Charleston, SC Sunday night and on the final note of the encore finale ("Alcohol"), Brad fell on stage - he bounced back up, finished the show and thanked the audience and told them good-bye.  Once he left the stage he was transported to the local hospital via ambulance to be checked out - all is well, only badly bruised.  Brad was discharged from the hospital and is on his way home to Nashville.

Wow!!! He really took a header!!! Check it out...

Mark

Mark

March 8, 2010 - 11:41am.
Tyler Veronelly

I wanna tell you about a good friend of mine. Mark WALKeR. First off...ever since I met the guy, he insisted on that ridiculous spelling of his last name...don't ask me why!? I met Mark 5 years ago, at radio school (a.k.a Radio, Television, Broadcast News @ SAIT in Calgary)

At first...Mark was a guy that I made fun of. He had that "small town swagger" and was proud to call himself a Nickleback fan. But after a while...I realized this dude was a lot like me. We laughed at the same stupid things...we LOVED a brutally bad pun...and we had terribly obnoxious laughs.

During the next year and a half...Mark and I became really good friends. The rest of our class even made fun of us, saying we had "man-crushes" on each other. My wife Kelly especially ;) Even though we've both moved around a little since then, we've always kept in touch...and when we talk, or catch up...it's like nothing's changed...we'd be right back into our rhythm.

I got the call about 8:45 last night. Mark died this weekend in a car crash. He was 24.

It's the kind of news that makes you question a lot of things. One thing it doesn't make me question, is that Mark WALKeR was one of the best friends I'll ever have in my lifetime. He was a good dude. Always positive, enthusiastic, he was always smiling...loved a dirty, disgusting joke. He was so full of energy and full of life.

I can't even believe I'm writing about my buddy in the past tense.

He's gone...but I've got hours and hours of great memories, from great times I had with him...and I'll hang on to every single one.

To be honest...I could care less if anyone ever reads this...I just feel I need to put these words down...

Mark...I'm sorry...I'll miss you...damn. I'll never forget you my friend. Here's to making ear babies wherever you are.

Your buddy, Tyler.

March 3, 2010 - 5:02am.
Brad Grass

The pairings for the new season of Dancing With the Stars were revealed yesterday morning. Familiar faces like Karina Smirnoff, Kym Johnson and Lacey Schwimmer won't be back on the dance floor this year, making room for newcomer Damian Whitewood who will mark his debut with Pamela Anderson.

  • Gosselin will be training in her Pennsylvania basement so that she can be with her kids and plans on commuting for the live shows. She admitted, "I have eight kids, and I'm a mom and I have a very full schedule anyway. Obviously, the kids come first. It's going to be hard. I'm determined to do it."

The pairings are as follows:

  • Kate Gosselin and Tony Dovolani
  • Pamela Anderson and Damian Whitewood
  • Buzz Aldrin and Ashley Costa
  • Erin Andrews and hunky Maksim Chmerkovskiy

  • Evan Lysacek and Anna Trebunskaya
  • Niecy Nash and Louis Van Amstel
  • Shannen Doherty and Mark Ballas

....Derek and Damian, you lucky dogs!!!!......this is going to be the biggest season EVER!

Regina to host the 2010 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards

Regina, SK - February 23, 2010 - The Regina and Southern Saskatchewan Country Music Association is excited to announce that Regina will be the host for the 2010 Saskatchewan Country Music Awards. The awards weekend will take place April 16th - 18th. All events will be held at the Regina Inn with the exception of the awards show, which will take place in the Casino Regina Show Lounge.

Many industry professionals and Saskatchewan country artists will be in Regina this weekend to celebrate the achievements in the Saskatchewan country music industry this past year. Among the special guests will be multi-award winning Canadian singer/songwriter Victoria Banks.

Victoria has penned songs for many Nashville and Canadian artists alike; writing songs that produced top 40 Country radio play from Sara Evans, actress/singer Jessica Simpson and many others.  In Canada alone she contributed to the careers of One More Girl, Diane Chase and is responsible for a top ten hit song from Johnny Reid with power ballad "Dance with Me".  Victoria Banks has her own CD project out, and has been celebrating success as a vocalist with the release of "When You Can Fly" in 2009.  Three singles have emerged from her album and have released to radio to date while her fourth single will hit radio in a few weeks.

The Saskatchewan Country Music Association is a non-profit organization, dedicated to the promotion, development and enhancement of all aspects of Saskatchewan country music at the local, national, and international level. The SCMA endeavours to create venues for the promotion of Saskatchewan country artists through sponsorship of its own events, such as the annual SCMA Awards, and involvement in other organizations' events.

All events that take place during the awards weekend are open to the general public. These events include seminars, showcases, the industry awards banquet and the annual awards show. A full listing of events can be found at http://www.scma.sk.ca/. Tickets for the Awards Show are available through the Casino Regina Box Office. Individual tickets for all other events during the awards weekend or delegate passes (including a ticket to the awards show) are available on the SCMA website (http://www.scma.sk.ca/). Any remaining tickets will be sold at the door for each event.
